I love this restaurant, you can actually find authentic french food with really high quality. The service is great and anything you eat from there, it will be awesome.Ps: do yourself a favor and take the lemon tart as dessert

The food I ate here in 2014 was the best I can remember having in any restaurant. Beautifully cooked and presented. We sat out the front for the evening which was pleasant. The people who run the place were welcoming and didn't mind my terrible Franglais.

I've visited the Bistrot on a number of occasions, each time with a group of around 20 on our way to Le Mans and am always impressed by the ease with which we are accommodated - we never book in advance! Staff speak good English, menu is varied enough to suit us all and costs are reasonable. The hardcore amongst us stay behind for a brandy or two! If you're ploughing south through France and looking for an overnight stopover Bernay is ideal and the Bistrot is well worth a visit.

After a long day of travel, we were welcomed in to a fully coursed meal right before closing. Each course, and the wine recommended to us, was delicious and we felt fully considered and invited to take our time. A wonderful experience all around, we would definitely dine at the bistro again.

Very very nice food on a terrace in a beautiful old street. The houses really bring out a perfect ambience. We’ve had Moulles Frites and Entrecote and it was super delicious with an amazing price-quality!
